We're working with a respected and long-standing firm, to recruit a paralegal for their busy conveyancing department. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience, with access to excellent support and long-term development potential.
Position Overview
You'll play a key role in supporting the residential conveyancing team, working on a variety of sales and purchase transactions across freehold and leasehold properties. This role offers meaningful exposure to the full lifecycle of a property transaction, giving you the chance to grow your skills and take on increasing responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Assist with handling residential sale and purchase files
- Draft and review documents and correspondence
- Carry out searches and assist with preparing contracts and completion packs
- Maintain regular communication with clients, agents and third parties
- Ensure case progression in a timely and compliant manner
- Support the wider team with general administrative and legal tasks as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 months' experience in residential conveyancing (as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant)
- Familiarity with handling or assisting with a conveyancing caseload
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive approach and the ability to work well in a team
- Keen interest in further developing a career in property law
