This role puts you at the centre of technical decision-making, working on governance, compliance, and processes that really matter - in an in-house team committed to positive transformation.

You will provide expert guidance on a diverse portfolio of pension schemes.

What you'll bring

* Deep technical knowledge of pensions governance and regulation, including Trustee and Company requirements
* Proven project management skills, with intermediate Excel / Google Sheets capability
* Strong communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
* Strategic, detail-focused mindset and a natural mentoring style

Key responsibilities

* Manage complex pension cases, including IDRP and high-priority issues
* Provide technical expertise across DB, DC Mastertrust, and LGPS arrangements
* Support both Trustee and corporate requirements
* Lead DB scheme valuation and implement the new DB funding code
* Drive strategic outcomes and process improvements
* Enhance communications and financial well-being initiatives for employees
* Oversee Trustee governance and manage associated risks
* Adapt to a fast-paced, evolving environment with ongoing TUPE, contract changes, and business developments
