Not every pensions role is about running operations. This one is about improving them.

We're looking for an experienced pensions leader to shape and drive a function at the heart of operational quality, technical excellence and continuous improvement.


In this role, you'll take ownership of:
* Operational Assurance - strengthening controls, improving accuracy and driving consistent standards
* Technical Enablement - turning complex pensions legislation into clear, practical guidance
* Complaints Oversight - ensuring issues are handled fairly, effectively and used to improve service
* Governance - embedding strong frameworks that support risk management and compliance
* Continuous Improvement - identifying smarter, more efficient ways of working across the business


You'll play a key role in improving how pensions services are delivered across a growing business-helping to raise standards, reduce risk and enhance the member experience.


This is a highly influential role for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, driving change, and working closely with senior stakeholders across operations, client teams and change functions.


What we're looking for:
* Strong background in Defined Benefit pensions administration
* Experience in operational assurance, governance, technical pensions or complaints
* Confidence influencing senior stakeholders and leading change in complex environments
* A commercial, improvement-focused mindset
* Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
