Position Overview
You will play a crucial role in supporting the employment department, working on a diverse range of matters for both private and public sector clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge across contentious and non-contentious cases, representing both employers and employees alike.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and drafting of legal documents, including contracts, policies and tribunal submissions
- Conduct legal research to support the team in providing accurate and timely advice to clients
- Liaise with clients to gather information, provide updates, and ensure a high level of client care
- Maintain accurate records and manage case files, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and deadlines
- Support the team in preparing for and attending tribunal hearings and other legal proceedings
Requirements
- Previous Paralegal experience
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective client relationships
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities
- Proficiency in legal research and a solid understanding of Employment Law principles
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work
