Step into a pivotal leadership role as an Employment Partner where your commercial insight will shape the future of a busy employment department. This is a senior position offering genuine influence over the direction of the team, the opportunity to build on an established platform and the autonomy to shape a practice that reflects both market demand and your own professional strengths.
You will be a trusted adviser to businesses, providing practical, commercially minded solutions that balance risk and opportunity. Working alongside HR consultancy colleagues and other specialists, you'll offer integrated advice that helps clients navigate complex employment issues while achieving tangible results. From complex contentious matters to strategic non-contentious advice, you will be at the forefront of delivering high-quality outcomes while maintaining long-term client relationships.
Leadership is central to this position. You will mentor and develop junior lawyers, contribute to wider-firm initiatives and play a visible role in representing the department. You will also lead on business development, using your network and market insight to grow the employment offering through client engagement, tenders, seminars, webinars and training sessions.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified solicitor with significant experience in employment law and a proven ability to advise on both contentious and non-contentious matters. You will be confident in client-facing situations, adept at negotiation and advocacy and naturally skilled at building relationships across teams and sectors.
This role comes with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your professional growth and personal wellbeing. You'll have access to structured learning and development programmes, a pension scheme, life assurance, health insurance and a range of health and wellbeing initiatives. Flexible and hybrid working arrangements allow you to balance home and office-based work while remaining engaged with the team and clients.
