A highly regarded and well-established law firm in Essex is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its busy and growing property team, you will ideally be 4+ years PQE however all levels will be considered. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident fee earner looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive, forward-thinking environment offering genuine long-term progression.
You will take responsibility for managing your own varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters, with autonomy and support from an experienced team. Your workload will include:
- Sales and purchases of freehold and leasehold properties
- New build transactions
- Transfers of equity
- Managing approximately 30 new matters per month
- Providing clear, practical and commercially focused advice to clients
- Supervising secretarial and administrative support staff
- Maintaining and developing strong client and referrer relationships
- Ensuring compliance with internal procedures, billing and time recording
- Contributing to the ongoing growth and development of the department
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive
- Ideally 4+ years' PQE in Residential Property Law
- Proven ability to manage a full conveyancing caseload independently
- Commercially aware with a proactive and positive approach
- Strong IT and communication skills
- Ambitious, with a genuine interest in helping to develop and promote the department
