An established and forward-thinking legal practice is looking to appoint an experienced Property Support Lawyer to strengthen its residential conveyancing function. This role is ideal for a technically confident property professional who enjoys problem-solving, mentoring colleagues and ensuring that high standards are consistently maintained across a busy department.
Working closely with conveyancers across multiple offices, you will act as the department's technical sounding board. You will be involved in reviewing complex titles, advising on intricate leasehold and new build matters, resolving unusual or high-risk issues and providing practical, solutions-focused guidance to keep transactions on track. Rather than managing a large caseload, your focus will be on adding value through expertise, oversight and support.
You will play an integral part in maintaining compliance and quality standards, assisting with regulatory requirements, lender obligations and risk management procedures. Regular file audits and CQS-focused reviews will form part of your remit, helping to drive consistency, best practice and continuous improvement throughout the team. The position will also involve stepping in to provide short-term cover during periods of absence, ensuring seamless service delivery to clients.
