Our client is looking to expand their Property Dispute Department, and this role comes with the assurance of working in a professional legal firm with good quality work, who are financially secure and have a great reputation across Herts, Beds, Bucks and London.
The caseload will suit someone 5+ PQE, who can work unsupervised on a varied caseload of both commercial and residential property matters. As the cases are contentious, you will support your clients with guidance and solutions to understand the complex nature and negotiate settlement or find resolution.
The area of expertise will be in land and property, for both landlord and tenant. You will work within a team with paralegal and secretarial support, and you will take responsibility to oversee drafting and pre-action through to trial. Working collaboratively with your clients, and ensuring the delivery of a high quality service, you will be comfortable to represent your clients at court hearings and trials.
The work will cover:
- Leasehold enfranchisement and lease extensions/renewals
- Dilapidations, Service Charges and Tennant Default
- Possession claims
- Restrictive Covenants
- Redevelopment
- Boundary disputes and right to light specialism
