We are delighted to present an outstanding opportunity for a Senior Corporate Lawyer to join a forward-thinking corporate team, working closely with the Partner at the heart of the department's continued growth. This is far more than a traditional fee-earning role - you will be a key driver in shaping team performance, supporting development and helping to build a high-performing and collaborative environment.
In this position, you will take ownership of your own matters while also playing a central role in supervising and mentoring a team of seven lawyers. You will be trusted with significant autonomy on complex corporate transactions, while also contributing to the wider strategic growth of the practice, including client development and strengthening long-term relationships. Your workload will be varied, fast-paced and highly engaging, covering a wide range of corporate matters such as:
- Restructurings
- Shareholders' agreements
- Investor matters
- Share options
- Loan and finance arrangements
- Partnerships and LLP structures
- Wider company law advisory work
Alongside your transactional responsibilities, you will be instrumental in enhancing how the team operates. This will include improving processes, introducing efficient working practices, and embracing modern tools and technology. You will also be actively involved in training, knowledge sharing and helping to build a strong internal culture of collaboration and continuous development, as well as supporting networking and business development initiatives.
We are seeking a commercially minded corporate specialist with strong technical expertise, proven experience managing both transactions and people, and the confidence to advise clients on complex matters in a clear and practical way. You should be proactive and solutions-driven about supporting and developing others within a growing team.
