We're recruiting for a Private Client Lawyer to join a growing private practice. This is a newly created role, introduced as part of a wider strategic plan to expand the firm's footprint and enhance its private client offering in the local market, and this is a superb opportunity to be part of an exciting phase of expansion.
The role offers a varied and engaging caseload spanning the full breadth of private client work, including the drafting of wills, the administration of estates and probate matters, trusts, and advising on tax planning. You will also gain exposure to Court of Protection work and assist clients with the preparation and implementation of Lasting Powers of Attorney, providing a well-rounded and interesting mix of matters that combine both technical expertise and client interaction.
You will be given a high degree of autonomy, with the expectation that you can confidently manage your own caseload and work independently. At the same time, you will benefit from the support of an experienced and collaborative wider team. The role requires a proactive and hands-on approach and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
A consistent presence in the office will be important, particularly during the initial stages, as you establish yourself within the team, contribute to the office culture and support the continued development of the private client team. This is very much a role for someone who wants to be embedded in the team and play an active part in its ongoing success.
