An established and highly respected law firm is continuing to invest in its family team and is now seeking a lawyer to join as part of its ongoing expansion. This opportunity has been created to strengthen the firm's local capability and offers the chance to play a role in building and shaping the family law presence in the area.
The role provides exposure to a broad and dynamic caseload, including divorce and separation, children matters, cohabitation disputes, child care proceedings and associated financial arrangements. You will work with a diverse client base, handling matters that range in complexity and often require a thoughtful and pragmatic approach.
This position is well suited to someone who is comfortable taking ownership of their work and managing cases from start to finish. You will be expected to operate with a good level of independence while still being part of a collaborative and well-supported team environment. In addition to fee-earning, there will be an opportunity to contribute to the ongoing growth of the department through client relationship building and local networking.
Given the focus on developing the team, a visible and consistent presence will be important, particularly in the early stages, allowing you to integrate with colleagues and play an active part in the office's continued development.
