Working within an established Partner-led Department, you will support 2 - 3 fee earners across all matters for the sale and purchase of residential properties. We are seeking a Paralegal, Property Assistant or an experienced Property Secretary who has experience in freehold and leasehold properties. This is a large department where you will work collaboratively.
This is an important role requiring someone able to be highly organised and pro-active in all property matters, keeping clients and agents updated on the conveyancing process. The responsibilities for the role will include day to day administration to include numerous phone calls to stakeholders, photocopying and keeping files updated as well as more conveyancing matters to include:
- Direct client calls and drafting letters
- Checking documentation and instructions
- Requesting searches, and chasing enquiries
- Drafting letters and reports
- Ensuring AML checks are made
- Pre-instruction applications and post completion matters
- Transactional and financial statements.
The firm have a very good CMS and also software for dictation, and key skills will be accuracy, good IT skills and a clear communicator style and being confident with clients.
