We are working with a well-established legal practice who are seeking a Trusts Solicitor to join their specialist Trusts & Tax department. This is an excellent opportunity to build your career managing a varied and established portfolio of trust clients.
Working with an established portfolio, you'll get hands-on experience across the full lifecycle of trust matters, from preparing accounts and tax returns to drafting key documents, such as trustee changes, distributions and terminations. You'll also manage Trust Registration Service submissions, support on FATCA/CRS requirements, and play an active role in keeping matters progressing smoothly.
What sets this role apart is the exposure. You'll be dealing directly with trustees and beneficiaries, supporting meetings alongside IFAs, and getting involved in increasingly complex work as your confidence grows. It's an environment where you will continue to develop and feel supported throughout.
This would suit a solicitor with around 2-3 years' PQE in trusts or private client work, who has a solid grasp of core tax principles, including IHT and CGT, and some familiarity with HMRC processes or trust accounting. Attention to detail, strong communication skills and a proactive mindset are key.
