We are seeking a Residential Paralegal who is interested in a role taking on a lot of responsibility for the conveyancing process. Working in a bigger firm, within a smaller dedicated team, where you will take responsibility for your work and have direct liaison with clients and all interested parties.
Your work will be overseen and signed off by the qualified fee earner who will take over the enquiries, and with the firm's modern software and processes you will get involved with all the non-legal functions, including but not limited to:
- Assist with handling residential sale and purchase files
- Draft and review documents and correspondence
- SDTL Calculations
- Request and comment on searches.
- Assist with preparing contracts and completion packs
- Maintain regular communication with clients, agents and third parties
- Ensure case progression in a timely and compliant manner

Requirements
- Minimum of 12 months' experience in residential conveyancing (as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant)
- Familiarity with handling or assisting with a conveyancing caseload
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- A proactive approach and the ability to work well in a team
- Keen interest in further developing a career in property law
- This is an office-based role.
