A rare opportunity has become available for an experienced Court of Protection lawyer to join a progressive and expanding private client team in a predominantly remote position. This role offers the chance to undertake highly rewarding work, supporting vulnerable individuals and their families through complex and sensitive legal matters while enjoying the flexibility of home working.
The successful candidate will advise on a broad range of Court of Protection and Attorneyship matters, including mental capacity issues, safeguarding concerns and ongoing support for vulnerable clients. The role is highly client-focused and will involve regular visits to clients across the Eastern Region and the Midlands, including in private homes, hospitals, hospices and residential care settings. You will play an important role in helping clients navigate difficult circumstances with compassion and professionalism.
This position would suit an experienced solicitor, ideally with around four years' PQE, who is confident managing their own caseload and enjoys building strong relationships with clients, families and professional contacts. The team is supportive and continuing to grow, making this an excellent opportunity for someone who values both autonomy and teamwork. Candidates who enjoy mentoring junior colleagues and contributing to the development of a positive team culture will be particularly well suited to the role.
Alongside high-quality and genuinely impactful work, the firm offers excellent long-term career prospects, a competitive salary and benefits package, and the flexibility of remote working balanced with meaningful client interaction and team engagement. Applicants should be located within reasonable travelling distance of Norwich and be willing to travel throughout the region when required.
