A highly regarded legal practice is seeking a Legal Cashier/Accounts Assistant to join its welcoming and collaborative team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a firm that places real value on its employees, offering comprehensive training, ongoing support and genuine opportunities for long-term career development.

Whether you are an experienced Legal Cashier or have a strong accounts background, this role offers the chance to become a key part of a busy and professional finance function. Working closely with colleagues across the firm, you will help ensure the smooth and compliant operation of client and office accounts, playing an important role in the success of the business.

Your responsibilities will include processing client and office account transactions, preparing electronic payments, including CHAPS and Faster Payments, checking invoices and completion statements, handling disbursements, maintaining accurate financial records, and responding to accounts enquiries. No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.

The successful candidate will be organised, detail-orientated and comfortable managing priorities in a busy environment. Previous experience within legal cashiering or an accounts position is essential, along with strong communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

In return, you will receive a competitive salary, flexible working arrangements, an extensive benefits package, to include bonus opportunities, wellbeing initiatives, and access to ongoing professional development. Most importantly, you will be joining a firm that is committed to recognising talent, supporting progression, and creating a positive and rewarding place to work.

If you are ready to take the next step in your career and join a firm where your contribution will be valued, we would love to hear from you.
