A superb opportunity has arisen for a successful Commercial Property Lawyer to join a niche property law firm who are CQS accredited, forward-thinking and who offer a partner-led service aimed at providing practical solutions. They are not a city based firm and that is where they have the advantage - the benefits of working in the city with very good clients.
You will be joining a dedicated commercial property department of six, including secretarial support, and the team specialise in all aspects of property development and investment projects which include buying, selling, leasing and developing commercial and industrial properties for both developers and lenders. As part of this close-knit team, you can expect a lot of direct client contact and the opportunity to gain broad exposure to a wide range of transactions.
Responsibilities:
As the Commercial Property Lawyer, you will be responsible for all aspects of commercial property matters, including:
- Site assembly
- Landlord, tenant and commercial leases
- Sales and acquisitions
- Conditional contracts
- Property finance
- Joint venture agreements
- Commercial auctions
- Asset management, including ground rent portfolios, retail estates, multi-let offices and industrial parks
- Option agreements
Requirements:
- You will ideally have 5 - 10 PQE, although relevant experience will be considered over PQE
- Familiar to working in a fee generating position with targets (3x)
- Excellent client contact skills
- Possess a good technical knowledge with first class organisational skills
- You should have a meticulous eye for detail
