This is an excellent opportunity to join a successful and growing private client department in a full or part time capacity, where you will have the autonomy to manage your own matters, build strong client relationships and continue developing your career.
You will be responsible for handling a varied portfolio of probate and estate administration matters, including both taxable and non-taxable estates, guiding clients through the full process from initial instruction through to completion. While you will have the independence to run your own files, you will also have the reassurance of a dedicated Probate Administration Team and an experienced team to provide support.
Based within a well-established private client hub, you will be part of a wider team spanning seven regional offices, giving you access to a broad range of expertise, including Fee Earners, Will Drafters, Tax Specialists and experienced legal support professionals. This collaborative structure provides an excellent environment to expand your technical knowledge, share ideas and progress your career.
This role will suit someone who enjoys client contact and takes pride in delivering a high-quality service. You will manage your own workload, attend client meetings, collaborate with colleagues, support junior team members and contribute to the continued growth and success of the department.
We are seeking a Probate Lawyer with 1-3 years' PQE and experience in estate administration, including knowledge of inheritance tax calculations. You will be organised and confident managing your own files, with strong communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate advice to clients during challenging times.
In return, you will join a friendly and forward-thinking firm that offers the quality of work and career opportunities of a larger practice, combined with the supportive culture of a close-knit team. You'll be offered a competitive salary, flexible working arrangements, 28 days' holiday plus bank holidays, and a range of additional benefits, including wellbeing support, life insurance, and family-friendly policies. All of this is set within a team committed to helping you grow your career while maintaining work/life balance.
