This is a busy role for a Solicitor who has Crime experience, able to quickly be available for clients to interview and provide advice when they are in difficult and stressful situations.
The roles are due to expansion, working with an established team of solicitors and junior staff, where you will manage casework via the firm's CMS ensuring billings and payments are kept updated which will include the Legal Aid Agency. This at times will be a 24 hour position, you will attend Police Stations, sometimes outside of normal office hours and Saturday Court Hearings and the firm do pay their fee earners overtime for work outside of normal office hours.
We are seeking a knowledgeable Criminal Solicitor, comfortable with court hearings and advocacy, and able to work independently and effectively prioritise workflow and billings whilst communicating effectively with clients demonstrating good ethics and legal procedures.
