This well run solicitors firm is seeking a Commercial Property Litigator to join their department and manage a varied caseload of 45 - 50 files. The clients will be a mix of offices, retail, hotels and restaurants, and investment residential property portfolios.
We are seeking a litigator, with experience to negotiating and reaching settlement, as well as dealing with claims, debt recovery and court hearings across matters to include:
- Contentious issues related to land transactions and real estate disputes
- Handling commercial landlord and tenant matters
- Lease renewals, dilapidations, service charges and rent reviews
- Enforcing covenants from both tenants' and landlords' perspectives
- Representing clients in negotiations, mediations and court proceedings
- Drafting legal documents, pleadings, witness statements and settlement agreements
- Meeting clients offering advice and support
- Collaborating with colleagues and external stakeholders
