We are looking for an experienced and technically accomplished Private Client Lawyer to join an established team. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of an existing caseload while playing an important role in developing a HNW offering. Working with individuals, business owners and farming clients, you will provide trusted advice on protecting wealth, planning for the future and supporting successful succession across generations.
This is a role for someone who enjoys building meaningful relationships and being a trusted adviser to clients and their families. You will manage your own matters with the support of an experienced team, while collaborating with professional advisers, including accountants, financial advisers and other trusted contacts to deliver a seamless, commercially focused service.
Your work will cover a broad range of private client matters, including:
- Complex Will drafting and estate planning
- Trusts and wealth structuring
- Inheritance tax and capital gains tax planning
- Business and agricultural succession planning
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
You will be a technically strong Private Client Lawyer, ideally with 5 years PQE, with excellent drafting skills and experience advising on complex estate planning matters. A strong understanding of IHT, CGT, APR and BPR is essential, along with the ability to communicate clearly, build trusted relationships and provide strategic advice.
